The Meramec Contemporary Art Gallery Presents "Voices in Encaustic"

The Meramec Contemporary Art Gallery will host the exhibit, "Voices in Encaustic," which opens Friday, Jan. 21.  

An opening reception is slated 5:30-
8 p.m. Jan. 21. Admission to the opening and exhibition, which continues through Feb. 18, is free.

The work of nationally recognized encaustic artists Pamela Blum, Miles Conrad and Molly Geissman will be featured. This medium mixes wax with pigment. 

An artist presentation also will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, in the gallery. It will feature Blum, who is from Dutchess Community College in New York.

Gallery hours are:
Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.;
Saturday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
The gallery is closed Sundays and holidays.
