Blast Off Your College Education: Sign Up for Project Launch!

May 10, 2010

Project Launch is a two-week summer program that will put your college career on the fast track! If you’re a graduating senior planning to attend St. Louis Community College in the fall, you can begin making the move from high school to college this summer.

The 2010 session of Project Launch will take place August 9-20. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and on Friday’s from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Program cost is $75, includes all materials and lunches, Monday through Thursday.

It’s a great chance to connect with other students from area high schools:

Bishop DuBourg
South County Tech High School
Webster Groves

But why give up two weeks of summer vacation? Because you can—

  • Experience the realities of college life without the pressure of full-semester responsibilities.
  • Connect with other students who share your interests and goals.
  • Improve your math, reading and English placement scores, saving you money and time later on.
  • Increase your chance of success in fall 2010.
  • Gain confidence about your transition from the world of high school to the very different and exciting world of college.
