In addition to his duties as dean at Miami University’s Hamilton campus, Daniel Hall also is a professor of political science at the school.

As dean, Hamilton has seen record enrollments in all demographics. Significant renovations and construction also have been completed on campus. During his tenure, new associate degree programs have been created, the university’s first completely hybridized program was initiated, an international program was established, and movement toward more bachelor’s degree offerings is under way. He also has forged more collaborative relations with other educational providers in the region.

Prior to joining Miami University, Hall served as chair and associate professor in the Criminal Justice department at the University of Toledo, and was a faculty member of the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida. He also was assistant attorney general of the Federated States of Micronesia and practice law in Kansas.

Hall’s juris doctorate is from Washburn University. His doctorate in education is from the University of Central Florida; he also holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
