Tony Dattoli Voted Baseball Co-Coach of the Year

Meramec baseball coach and faculty member Tony Dattoli was voted Baseball Co-Coach of the Year at the 2009 Midwest Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC). Winners in each sport are determined by votes from fellow coaches in the conference.

Dattoli’s record for this year was 31-30. His six-year record stands at 196-146 (.568). He coached three NJCAA Academic All-Americans this season, bringing the total Academic All-Americans who have played for Dattoli’s to seven. This year well-known Meramec alum David Freese reached the major leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals.
