Play Auditions for "Love’s Fine Wit" to be Held at Florissant Valley

April 28, 2009

Auditions for the production of "Love’s Fine Wit" will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 4, and at 7 p.m. on May 5 on the Florissant Valley campus, 3400 Pershall Road, St. Louis, MO.

"Love’s Fine Wit" is the first performance written by a Florissant Valley student, Taylor Grunloh. The play consists of a group of college students recalling an old high school English teacher. Through a series of comical events, the play explores the impact the English teacher had on the students’ lives.

Auditions are open to the public and consist of cold readings. Roles available for the upcoming production include four males and two females of college age. No appointment is required and the performance dates are June 10-14, 2009.

The selected cast will be announced on May 6, and the first read-through for those selected will be May 7. For more information, contact Dan Betzler at 314-513-4121.
