Christy Jaeger, manager of continuing education on the Meramec campus, was this year’s winner of the Meramec Outstanding Professional Staff Member Award. Christy was honored along with five other nominees at a ceremony held Friday, April 17, 2009. Meramec President Paul Pai bestowed the Award.

“All our nominees have a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence,” said committee co-chair Amy Bird. “They really help promote a positive image of the college wherever they go. Christy is a shining example of this, performing her duties in an ethical and professional manner and approaching the changes to Continuing Education at St. Louis Community College with imagination and vision.”

The Outstanding professional Staff Award was established in the spring of 2005 by the Meramec Administrative/Professional Staff Development Committee to recognize an exceptional staff member who regularly and consistently exceeds performance expectations.
