The Meramec campus will host its annual Engineering, Mathematics and Sciences Night at 6:30 p.m. April 2. All area high school juniors and seniors who are considering a career in the science are invited to attend this event sponsored in conjunction with Missouri University of Science and Technology (MST).
STLCC-Meramec and MST have an articulation agreement that allows students to complete the first two years of their bachelor’s degree at Meramec, and the last two at MST with seamless transferability. Students receive high-quality instruction with the benefit of small class size and individual attention during their freshman and sophomore years. In addition, they will save thousands of dollars on their education.
“For students who plan to get a degree in the sciences, this is truly the best deal in town,” said Andrew Langrehr, dean of science and technology. “This partnership between the community college and MST makes education accessible to many who just couldn’t afford it right now. It offers one of the best educational experiences in Missouri. I really encourage students and their parents to attend our event.”
No registration for the event is necessary. The event will be held in the Science South Building on the Meramec campus. Faculty from both institutions will be on hand to answer questions and present the highlights of various programs. Tours of the Meramec lab facilities will follow.
