Regina Ware teaches at Central Middle School in the Hazelwood School District. Ware earned her associate in arts degree from St. Louis Community College-Forest Park and is pursuing a doctorate degree at Lindenwood University. She also holds degrees from Harris-Stowe State University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ware has served as an adjunct reading instructor at STLCC-Forest Park. A recipient of the 2002 Teacher of the Year Award at East Middle School, Ware has served on many school-related committees, including those for school improvement, academic excellence and curriculum revision. Ware is a member of the Missouri Middle School Association and the English Teachers of Greater St. Louis. She is active in her church, volunteering as a coach and supervisor of the Junior Usher Board. Ware spent three weeks in China to learn about China and its educational system and culture, incorporating these real-life experiences into her classroom teaching.
