Faculty MySTLCC ID

STLCC computer services currently use a common credential log in to help protect your identity and offer more computer security. This common credential is called MySTLCC ID.

Your MySTLCC ID and secure Password allows you to log in to your computer, Outlook e-mail, Blackboard, Hyperion, Serena Collage, Web Calendar, Blackboard and Banner Self-Service. No more A-number and pin to remember!

Please note: This change does NOT include Banner Production (INB) at this time.

As part of the common-credential process, a secure password policy has been implemented. The new policy requires you to change your password to one that includes a minimum of 10 characters. It must also contain at least three out of four of the following criteria:

  • At least one number
  • At least one upper-case character
  • At least one lower-case character
  • At least one special character such as
    ! @ # % ^ * = + - ; : , . / ? _ ( ) ` ~

The secure password will expire one year after you set it. However, it is recommended that you change your password several times a year for security purposes.

After you have changed your password, the next step is to complete the MySTLCC ID password reset security questions. This new application will allow you choose your own security questions so you can reset your own password in case you forget it.

The password reset function will enable you to immediately reset your password online in case you forget it, thus eliminating the 24-48 delay that currently exists. However, you must complete the security questions in order to use the password reset function. If you have not completed the security questions, you must contact the Computer Support Center to have your password reset.

New Web applications will assist you in changing your password. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Change your password.
  2. Complete your security questions.

If you experience problems resetting your password, use the MySTLCC ID Help Wizard. If you are still experiencing problems, contact the Computer Support Center.
