Bob Frischmann begins his seventh year as Meramec's Sports Information Director. The veteran journalist has over 26 years experience in the media, having started his professional career as a television news writer/editor with KMOX-TV (Channel 4 News) in the early 1980's. Since then, Frischmann spent 14 years as a nationally award-winning high school journalism teacher. The National Junior College Wrestling Coaches Association honored Frischmann with the Sports Media Award in 2002 for his promotion of wrestling in the St. Louis media. He holds a B. A. Degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in Communications, and a Master's of Science Degree from Missouri Baptist College in Education. He also serves as an adjunct instructor of mass communications/film classes.
