Job Classifications

Full-time faculty positions
Full-time faculty positions generally require a master's degree for subject areas and a bachelor's degree for career education. Full-time faculty are assigned responsibility for instruction, student services or in instructional resources.

Administrative positions
Administrative positions are those that require a minimum of a bachelor's degree; many require a master's degree. Most are in supervisory positions.

Professional positions
Professional positions for the most part require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Some are in supervisory positions.

Classified/office and
technical support staff
Classified/office and technical support staff include clerical employees/administrative support and technical and paraprofessional employees with specialized skills.

Physical plant employees
Physical plant employees include power and utility, maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, and warehouse and receiving employees.

Part-time faculty positions
Part-time faculty positions generally require an associate's degree or appropriate experience for career education and a master's degree for subject areas. They may teach or provide counseling or library instructional resource services.
