Mary Ann Altergott

Mary Ann Altergott is the Sr Vice-President, Corporate Services for Savvis, Inc. As a member of the company's executive team, Ms. Altergott leads the company's IT, supply chain management, human resources and real estate functions. Additionally, Ms. Altergott serves as the corporate compliance officer and is responsible for the company's community affairs and government relations.

She joined the Savvis team in 2006 and has focused on improving the company's performance, particularly addressing cost management to improve corporate financial margins. In 2007, Altergott led the establishment of a partnership with United Way and has led successively improved contribution campaigns each year since. Their efforts were recognized by the St. Louis area Regional Business Council with the "Spirit of Technology" award in 2009. She was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the "Most Influential Business Women" in 2009.

Previously, she was a Principal at The Clermont Group. Her firm delivered global human resources, executive coaching and organizational development consulting services to a multi-national client base. Ms. Altergott also served in a senior human resources role leading the HR team for global risk management at Bank of America. She was responsible for the integrating of key people processes including talent management, compensation, organizational development and senior leadership selection. Altergott spent over ten years in a series of senior HR and operational roles with The Pillsbury Company (a subsidiary of Diageo, PLC).

An active community volunteer, Ms. Altergott has served on the local Girl Scout board in three separate cities and has held a variety of roles including troop leader, chairing an organizational assessment process and serving as administrative volunteer. In the St. Louis metropolitan area, she serves as Board Chair for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Board, having previously led the organization's strategic planning and board development committees. Altergott and her family are based on St. Louis, Missouri.
