Safety Training
The Risk Management Department is responsible for providing safety training for employees of St. Louis Community College. Ongoing safety training programs are in place for College employees in the Physical Facilities area. In addition, periodic safety training is also provided to College employees in the following areas:
- Automated External Defibrillator
- Emergency
- Evacuation
- Safe Lifting
- Hazardous Chemical Management
- Ergonomics
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Electrical Safety
- Fire Extinguisher Use
- Severe Weather Response
- Heat Stress/Cold Stress
- Machine Guarding/Safety
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Lockout/Tagout
- Forklift Operations
- Waste Management
