Programmable Logic Controllers

Many of the productivity gains from the last decade have come from continued improvements in automation of a company’s processes. Manufacturing is the traditional user of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Automated Controls, but other users cover a wide range of industries, including public utilities, entertainment, mining & raw material extraction, as well as the life sciences.

Training is required for the maintenance technicians, operators, and skilled trades involved with operating and troubleshooting the systems controlled through automation. As the technologies change and as old systems are changed or replaced, continued training must occur for the initial gains to be maintained.

From entry level PLC training to advanced troubleshooting, our courses will prepare your technicians or engineers to operate, maintain or problem solve on a variety of automated controls systems. With our custom-built mobile simulators, you can train at our Center for Workforce Innovation facility or we can come to you. Click here for a list of courses.
