Enrollment

We accept children from the ages of 2-12. All toddlers must be potty trained prior to enrollment.

Responsibilities of New Parents
Parents must provide the following data/information:

  • Parents/Guardians enrolled at Forest Park must provide a computer printout-paid fee receipt from the Cashier's office showing parent's/guardian's schedule.
  • Child's immunization record on file to reflect immunization history.
  • Copy of birth certificate with enrolling parent's name on certificate.
  • Notarized letter of consent from parent/guardian for caregiver not on birth certificate.
  • $1 Insurance fee due at time of registration per child for each enrolling semester.
  • Physical examination due no later than 30 days from entry date of new child.

Registration during the week of STLCC's central registration is on a limited enrollment first-come, first-served and is based on current staffing of Children's Center. There is no exception for enrollment or any guaranteed placement.

Waiting List
Once maximum enrollment is reached due to staffing of the center, a waiting list will begin.
The children will be placed in the Children's Center from the waiting list in numerical order, based on the next available opening in our 2-to 12-year-old classrooms -- No Exceptions.  No transferring of names to slots will be allowed from the list for available openings.

Pre-Enrollment -- Returning Parents*

  • Registration -- week of final exams previous semester parents only with a current physical and completed file.
  • Parents/Guardians must provide a computer printout-paid fee receipt for the semester from the Cashier's office.
  • All documents must be current and on file (physical, immunization, emergency medical, birth certificate).
  • No previously enrolled parent will be allowed to register their child without a current physical.
  • No outstanding fees at time of enrollment.
  • $1 insurance fee at time of registration per child for enrolling semester.

Those who do not meet all of the above requirements will be considered as a new returning parent on a first-come, first-served basis during week of central registration.

*A returning parent/guardian is one who has used center services the immediate past semester.
