Coach Marquardt has been at Forest Park since 2004. She is also the Athletic Coordinator for Forest Park Athletics. She is a 2001 graduate of McKendree University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education degree. In 1999, she was named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National All-Tournament Team and honored as an NAIA All-American. Marquardt helped to lead McKendree University to two NAIA National Tournaments in 1998 and 1999.

Marquardt has been married since 1997 and resides in Freeburg, Illinois with her husband and three children.
