TeleWEBcourses
These courses are a combination of video/Web-based instruction and email, providing students and faculty more opportunities for engagement and interaction. Students view video lessons through library check-out materials (videocassettes, CDs, DVDs) or by streaming video through Blackboard, which provides students a "video on demand" service (a broadband/high speed Internet connection, either DSL or cable, is recommended, however, some videos are accessible via dial-up connection).
TeleWEB students also use the Internet (Blackboard) for assignments, announcements, class discussions, quizzes, and faculty/student and student/student interaction. Students generally go to campus for midterms and finals. Students need to meet equipment requirements for a Web course to take a TeleWEBcourse.
