The theory and application of Henderson-Hasselbach Equation, oxygen dissociation curve, oxygen uptake, transport, and consumption, oxygen and carbon exchange, renal physiology, and arterial and venous gas tensions. Clinical application of obtaining arterial samples, and interpretation of results. Prerequisites: Admission to program, must hold a certificate or degree from an allied health program or waiver from program director and Reading Proficiency.
