This course explores the use of non-traditional methods, and a variety of hand-applied emulsions, to produce photographic images. Students will have the opportunity to create prints using historic processes (cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, gum bichromate, etc.) on a variety of papers or fabrics, as well as working with other light-based formats. Additional lab hours may be required. Prerequisites: ART 165 Reading Proficiency.
