Online Courses
You can register and pay for online classes entirely online. Classes are available through two high-quality providers.
-
Select your short-duration Personal or Professional Development course through www.ed2go.com/stlcc. Click the "Enroll Now" button, and enter your registration and payment information.
-
Career Advancement and Certification courses are available through www.gatlineducation.com/stlcc. You may enroll and pay online, or take advantage of Gatlin's payment plan or Military Tuition Assistance and Veterans Benefits assistance.
-
American Management Association Self-Study online courses are available through www.flexclassroom.com/stlcc. Click "register for this course" when viewing the description of any course for online registration and payment.
All online classes are full price - no senior discount or senior scholarship can be applied.
Payment for Continuing Education courses is due at the time of enrollment. If you do not pay for the course at the time of enrollment, you will not be registered.
Fee Reduction for Older Adults
Older adults (those 60 years and older) may enroll in most courses for a reduced fee. That reduction is half of the price of the class fee only, plus whatever material costs are associated with the class. Material costs include fees for expenses such as books and materials, facility usage, tour and travel costs, computer lab usage, online courses, food supplies and other items needed for the class. NOTE: Those wishing to take advantage of this fee reduction must do so at the time of registration. Before registering, please contact a Continuing Education office to see if your course contains a material fee. All online classes are full price - no senior discount can be applied.
Senior Citizen Scholarship
If you are at least 65 years of age and are a Missouri resident, you may be awarded a scholarship that exempts you from class fees to enroll in a course. There is a limited number of "scholarship spaces" in each course; this scholarship is therefore provided on a space-available basis. In any case, if you qualify for the Senior Citizen Scholarship, there will be a non-refundable registration fee of $5 per course, up to a maximum of $25 per semester. You also will be responsible for other fees, such as materials, supplies and books, which may be included in the printed fee.
If you wish to take advantage of this scholarship, you may enroll no earlier than two days prior to the first class date. If you already have paid for a course, you may not receive a refund for a course in order to enroll for a scholarship space in the same course. All online classes are full price - no senior scholarship can be applied. Please call the Continuing Education office for more information about the Senior Citizen Scholarship.

Since Continuing Education (non-credit) classes are self-supporting, the decision to run a class is based on the number of people enrolled. The college reserves the right to cancel if sufficient enrollment is not achieved. Registrants will be notified by phone or mail if a class is canceled. Full refunds will be issued for classes canceled by the college. See the course schedule for classes (such as daytrips) that require notice beyond one business day for cancellation and eligibility for a refund.
Requests to withdraw should be submitted in writing to the campus Continuing Education Office where the registration was processed. Calculation of refunds will be based on the date the written request is received by the office. If you have a situation that warrants an override of the above policy, an explanation of the circumstances should be made in writing to the Office of Continuing Education. Refunds should be received within 30 days.
