ENGR:706 Drones for Hobbyists & Entrepreneurs10/04-10/25  

Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays. A series of 14 UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) presentations along with videos will be presented. These include the history of UAVs, airspace restrictions, privacy issues, employment opportunities, current manufactures, FAA requirements as well as specifics to the small UAVs including as basic electricity, batteries, safety, GPS, motors, autopilots, ground stations and more. In addition, students will have the opportunity to become proficient in flying small quadcopters using a computer based simulator and then actual quadcopters. No class 10/18. Cost for adults 60 and over $124.50.

Discussion will also focus on requirements to build and regulations to fly drones. You'll also have the chance to fly a Quadcopter simulator. Cost for adults 60 and over $12.00.

ELEC:705 National Electric Code and Calculations - Part l08/23-12/06  

The introductory study of the NEC for those in related fields. This course will cover the elements, changes, applications, and design aspects of the 2014 National Electrical Code for residential and commercial properties.
