The topic of climate change includes a broad range of sub-topics including: climate science, scientific consensus, corporate responsibility, individual responsibility, public opinion, technology, economics, politics, and public policy. While these sub-topics are interrelated, it is important to also focus on public policy. Come learn about the risks and potential consequences of climate change and the variety of policy options intended to address those risks including costs and the impact of proposed policies. In this presentation, we will look at the life of Abraham Lincoln (1809 - 1865) from his birth in Kentucky, his life as a youth, his beginnings as an attorney, his family life and legends that followed him after his assassination in April of 1865.
