7-one-7 Format at SCEUC
We're offering a new day-time semester format at the South County Education and University Center. We're splitting the regular semester in half and replacing it with two seven-week terms, separated by a one-week break. We call it "7-one-7".
South County Education and University Center
The South County Education and University Center, a full-service satellite of St. Louis Community College, offers all the benefits of the STLCC educational experience—quality, relevant programs, accessible professors who care about their students, and affordable tuition—right in your neighborhood. Our convenient location, at the intersection of Lemay Ferry Road and Meramec Bottom Road in south St. Louis County, allows you to work, play and earn your degree close to home, which can make life a lot easier.
Academic advisors are available to help you plan your schedule. Advising is available on a drop-in basis. Call 314-984-7200 to check the hours an advisor will be available, and also to make an appointment for financial aid or DisAbility information.
Academic Support Center
An Academic Support Center staffed with professional math and English tutors is available to assist students. The English tutor provides assistance with papers and other written work for any class. The math tutor provides assistance with courses from Pre-Algebra through College Algebra. Peer tutors for Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology are also available. Students can apply for admissions, register, and pay for classes all at the South County Education and University Center during regular office hours. Please call 314-984-7200 for hours of operation. Additional information is available at the Admission and Registration web page.
A schedule of COMPASS testing dates is available at the Information Desk or call 314-984-7200. Students may take the COMPASS on a walk-in basis on the scheduled date. Additional information is available on the Assessment page.
A computer lab, room 105, is available for student use Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-8:45 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The lab may be closed for testing or maintenance. Computer hours are posted and a schedule can be obtained at the Information Desk or by calling 314-984-7200. Laptops are available for current students and for use in the building at the Information Desk.

Financial Aid Information

GED Classes are available to anyone who is 16 years of age or older who would like to prepare for the GED test. New students are accepted on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the classroom (101). No fee is charged and classes meet Monday through Friday,
University of Missouri St. Louis courses offered
You can earn a high quality, fully accredited, low-cost college degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis on-site at SCEUC. UM-St. Louis offers degree credit courses that lead to a smooth transition for transfer students interested in completing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Elementary Education or Liberal Studies from UM-St. Louis. The faculty and staff of St. Louis Community College and UM-St. Louis are committed to helping you achieve your academic goals.

The Ruth Moellenhoff Memorial Scholarship is a renewable scholarship to assist in the purchase of textbooks.
