Participation in athletics at any level can teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, dedication and time management. St. Louis Community College is committed to providing quality competitive athletic opportunities to enhance our students’ educational experience.

The teams use different campuses as their primary campus though the teams are open to students from any campus:

  • Florissant Valley – volleyball* and men’s soccer
  • Forest Park – men’s and women’s basketball
  • Meramec – baseball, softball and women’s soccer

*St. Louis Community College has suspended the volleyball program for the 2014 season. It will resume play for the fall 2015 season.

STLCC’s athletic teams compete as members of the National Junior College Athletic Association and Midwest Community College Athletic Conference.

The Athletics department offers scholarship opportunities for men and women to participate in several intercollegiate sports. Students interested in eligibility requirements should contact Sharon Marquardt, assistant athletic director, for more information.
