Withdrawal and Refund Information
The student is solely responsible for completing an official withdrawal form and submitting it to the Admissions office. Be aware of deadlines as detailed below. These are strictly enforced. All course change requests must be submitted in person once online registration/add/drop has closed for each semester.
Failure to file the appropriate forms or stopping payment on a check does not release students from the financial responsibility incurred for reserving class space, even if the student never attended or stopped attending the course.
In order to receive a "W" for a course, the student must officially withdraw from the course by completing the withdrawal form and submitting it in person to the Admissions office on or before the deadline as indicated in the schedule below: Fax withdrawals will be accepted from students at a distance who are enrolled only in distance learning courses.
Length of class
Length of Class indicates the duration of the class from start date through the last day, including exam week as applicable.
Withdraw by Friday
The Friday of the week listed is the final day a student may withdraw from the course. In weeks where the Friday falls during a time when the college is closed (i.e. Thanksgiving), the withdrawal deadline will be the preceding Wednesday.

Medical/Job-Related Withdrawals
Requests to withdraw from current semester classes for medical or job-related reasons may be submitted throughout the semester. Documentation is required. An instruction sheet detailing the procedure is available from the Admissions office at the campus of your choice. All withdrawal requests and documentation must be received before the last day of classes for the semester in question.
