Admissions & Registration
In keeping with our original purpose to provide high quality, low-cost education to all area residents, St. Louis Community College has an open admissions policy, which means admission to the college is not based on minimum academic qualifications. Standards of admission and retention have been established, however, for certain programs and courses to make sure students have the necessary aptitude and background for success. Students applying for these programs may be required to take additional tests for admission purposes.
You must be admitted to STLCC before registering for courses. Admission applications are accepted at any time and may be completed and submitted online or in person at any campus.
STLCC operates on a semester schedule, offering fall, spring and summer courses. Late-start and short-term courses are offered during each session. See the current course schedule and MySTLCC for term details.
Whenever you're ready to start your college education, pick up where you left off years ago, shift career gears or update your skills, St. Louis Community College is ready to help. Go to our New Student Checklist today or contact any campus Enrollment Services office (Admissions office) for more information.
