Gateway to College

Scholars Academy

Do you need a high school diploma?

Do you want to go to college?

Gateway to College (Scholars Academy) offers an alternative education, and an opportunity to earn your high school diploma at the St. Louis Community College. Gateway to College (Scholars Academy) is a new scholarship program for students, ages 16 to 20. The program allows students to earn a high school diploma while earning college credit toward an associate degree or certificate. Tuition and book costs are covered by the program and all classes will meet on the Florissant Valley campus of St. Louis Community College.

It's all about education. In today's global economy, more than 80 percent of the fastest growing jobs will require education or training beyond high school. Additionally, adults without at least a high school diploma are twice as likely to be unemployed. Therefore, without at least a high school diploma, options are limited.

We are looking for students who have the desire and determination to learn, work hard, and earn a high school diploma and a college degree.

Where will a Gateway to College education take you? You decide.
