ALL degree-seeking students must have their official transcript(s) sent to STLCC.

Students may contact an advisor for general questions regarding transferring to STLCC.

How Will My Credits Transfer to STLCC?

Transcripts received from other colleges and universities for degree-seeking students are required to undergo an evaluation to determine if previous credits will transfer to STLCC. This process will also determine if the student is eligible for financial aid or scholarships.

  • In Progress coursework will not be evaluated and STLCC will require that a complete transcript be sent once grades are posted.

  • If you would like to check that your transcripts have been received, please check your application checklist:

    • Login to Self-Service and
    • Click Student Services & Financial Aid
    • Choose View Application Checklist
NOTE: If you have a Transcript Not For Evaluation on your checklist, there is no need to submit that transcript.

  • Once transcripts are received, an evaluation will take place within 30 days.
  • Students receiving financial aid must have all of their transcripts received by STLCC by the following priority deadlines:
    • December 1 for Spring Term
    • May 1 for Summer Term
    • August 1 for Fall Term

A number of colleges schedule visits to each campus to answer questions about transferring. Schedules of campus visits are available at the links below.

To report a problem with the transfer policy

Missouri's Coordinating Board for Higher Education has approved a Credit Transfer Policy that stipulates guidelines for student transfer and articulation among Missouri colleges and universities.

All public institutions have agreed to abide by the principles contained within the policy. Any transfer student who believes there has been unfair treatment involving acceptance of college credits may contact the college's articulation officer at the address and phone number below:
